Elite Teams

Competitive basketball teams that prioritize teaching athletes the fundamentals not only focus on competing but also emphasize the players' personal growth and development both on and off the court. Elite teams include Boys 3rd-12th grade and Girls 4th-8th Grade. Click below to sign up for Elite team tryouts end of February/Early March 2025

Training Sessions

These training sessions will focus on shooting, ball handling, footwork, defense, conditioning, and many other skills that will help the athletes reach their full potential! Coach Carr will employ innovative drills and personalized feedback to target specific areas of improvement, fostering a growth mindset among the athletes. Click below to book.

Camps

Led by Coach Carr, these dynamic basketball camps offer comprehensive training in ball handling, shooting, and defense, with daily game situations, competitions, and 5-on-5 matches. Open to boys and girls in grades 2nd-9th, grouped by age and skill level for personalized attention and growth. Click below to sign up for summer camps.

ABOUT

David Carr grew up in SE Portland, where his love for basketball began. He played CYO and AAU through elementary and middle school.
 
David then went on to Central Catholic where he received 3 varsity letters. He was named First-Team All-State his Senior year, Mt. Hood Conference Player of the Year his Senior year, three-time Three-Point Les Schwab Champion his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years, and McDonald All-American nominee his Senior year.
 
After high school, David Carr received a full four-year athletic scholarship to play basketball for the University of Portland. David started his Freshman year and the beginning of his Sophomore year, until he suffered a season-ending knee injury. David was able to come back strong for his Junior season but suffered another career-ending knee injury the summer before his Senior year. 

David graduated with a degree in Organizational Communications and is now married, with a handsome son and a beautiful daughter. David has been running his basketball academy for the past nine years and helped many athletes take their game to the next level. He coaches boys teams grades 3rd-12th and is adding 6th-8th grade girls teams this fall. In addition to his team, he also has Breakfast Club Workouts and other individual and group training sessions.
